There are three levels of certification for adults working with children or youth.
Level A is for adults who will not be directly working with the youth but may be present at events. All parents are asked to complete the Level A paperwork at the start of the school year. Criminal background checks are not performed.
Level B is for adults who may be assisting with activities involving children but will not be the lead adult. Level B certified adults will not be left alone with children at any time. Criminal background checks are not performed.
Level C is for all adults who will be working directly with children such as catechists, youth ministers, and chaperones. These adults have been fully vetted including criminal background checks. All Level C certified adults must go through recertification every five (5) years.
