MUSIC Ministry at St. Matthew

WELCOME to the Music Ministry at St. Matthew!  It's exciting to see so many getting involved in an important ministry of our Faith Community.  We are open to ANY interested individuals — children, youth or adult. ALL skill levels are welcome in the Choir and NO auditions are required! We offer training for handbells as well as opportunities for instrumentalists.  We encourage soloists and ensembles to add to the musical experience at mass.
 

You're cordially invited  to JOIN US! and meet some of the people who simply LOVE sharing their Talents to serve our Lord Jesus Christ.  It's NOT necessary you have a music background or training - just a Willingness to Serve.  Please Join Us today as we strive to make the St. Matthew Music Ministry one of the most exciting Catholic musical programs in Durham.  Contact our Music Director Bob Cook or the Parish Office for more information.

Adult Choir rehearsals are held Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm in the Parish Church. Childrens/Youth Choirs rehearsals are scheduled for special masses. Click on the menu to the left to learn more about our choir members and director.
