The Boy Scouts of provides a national program for young people. Scouting builds personal character, teaches outdoor skills, develops physical fitness and helps young men become responsible citizens.
Scouting builds our future leaders and instills values that last a lifetime. Boy Scouts is for boys 11 to 17 years of age. St. Matthew Parish is PROUD to host Boy Scout Troop 405.
All north Durham boys are welcome to join our troop.
We are a Troop that mixes outdoor activities with a focus on STEM merit badges and activities. We have a high Eagle Scout rate and are very focused on giving back to the community through service and conservation projects.
Troop 405 meets every Monday (except the first 1st of the month) at 7PM in the Parish Center. Anyone interested in joining Troop 405 or Scouting can contact Scoutmaster Matthew Jenks at mjenks2@gmail.com or 919-452-2059.
